Turmeric Tea Ritual
/Turmeric Tea has become one of my favorite night time rituals. I recently went on an anti inflammation diet. One of the first phases included a limited set of approved ingredients which included Turmeric something I had not previously used. Doing a little research, I found this tea recipe which I adore. It is especially good in the evenings as it is caffeine free & offers a little sweetness thanks to the addition of ginger & honey. The combination of these ingredients is tasty, soothing & help fight inflammation making it a great cold buster or pick me up. The beautiful golden color is enough to make anyone feel better.
Check it out below, or try my favorite from rishi. who makes a fabulous ready made version in bags or loose tea. I hope you enjoy! xo b

Turmeric’s healing properties make it perfect for skin. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory so it reduces redness & other common skin irritations. It’s antibacterial, so it’s great for blemishes, acne and skin balance. Turmeric is wonderful at improving the texture of the skin because it is an exfoliant but also rich in antioxidants. It’s a wonderful natural treatment inside and out!

By taking turmeric, you can improve the oxygen intake of the brain, which helps in all of the brain’s functions and processes. Turmeric is extremely healing for the brain and for increasing memory function.
